Fit as Expected, True to Size

Unionbay is a good brand. I have bought some of their clothing at J.C. Penney's in the past. It is a brand that really lasts too, very sturdy and well made. I got these cords in the mustard. I know they look yellow in the pic, but I was pleased, because they really are mustard. They fit true to size. You need not go up a size, nor down. They are comfortable. I would the gray, but summer is coming, and I live down south. Still, these are nice pants, and a fantastic deal. Perhaps I could get the gray and put them away for winter for 7 bucks! Oh, they are not tight, which is nice, so they won't be hot, if you do decide to wear them on a summer day, for any reason. Order with confidence. Good deal.

Larger than expected.

I must admit that I have to do a lot of guess work when it comes to sizes. I can where from L -XXL depending on the item. I guessed a 1x would be okay. I love the soft butter yellow color. The capri pants fit me like regular pants. But I wear them for pajamas. So I would recommend looking at the sizing as being generous when ordering.I do really like the soft fabric for pajamas; for me its perfect.

Super thin will beat the heat but not the washer. Thick bunched waist band. Long wide legs. More like panamas. Wouldn't wear out of the house.

Good, but a tad thin: will shrink if dried on high heat

Since I couldn't find yellow capris in my usual brand (see comments), I got these. They are an acceptable alternative; although the fabric, is much thinner. Their L-shaped pockets' sewing is a bit too tight, as well. Yet if you order a size or two larger than you normally wear as I did, the overall bagginess will overcome that problem.I find drawstrings annoying, but the waistband is elasticized, too. 2" waistband, so when the elastic dies (and it will die quickly, I'm sure) you can easily insert 1.5" elastic and remove the drawstring altogether.Pants are very comfortable. Instructions warn to machine wash cold, tumble dry low; material is cotton (maybe 4-5 oz weight); so it's very thin and NOT preshrunk. So that means you should order a size larger than normal: for you just know, one day you will forget to obey the instructions.So I just machine-washed these in warm water; no shrinkage. Then put them in the dryer on high 'cotton' heat setting, with a medium load of mostly t-shirt cotton clothes. The capris shrank a full size, in width. I wanted that; so am a happy camper. You might not be, if you dry them: but at least, now you know what might happen.
