5These are my favorite pants, have 12 sets for 20+ years

I specifically came to Amazon to look for Only Necessities 7-day pants. Thought I wrote a review on them for the others I bought, but don't see that review now. 20+ years ago, I bought 11 sets of pants with matching tops, and they are a good alternative to business dress, when topped with a business blazer. Very comfortable, NO PILLING, wash and dry on regular settings, do not shrink, travel well, don't smell in closet though hung there for years, everything you want to say is good about knit pants. You can dress them up or down. Long-term, when you wear them too often for public use, they make GREAT pajamas or lounge pants. But in 20+ years of wearing, these are still presentable. The sky blue is really sky blue, (but matte, not shiny like the picture, thank God) . The sage is somewhat minty. The other colors are true to the picture, except that I can't vouch for the pinks or violets here (as I already have the latter and won't wear pink pants in any form).Order your true size, or a size DOWN from normal. For example, I can wear either medium or large, the latter for loose fit. The larger the size you order, the higher the rise. The cut presumes a very pregnant-like belly, hence the rise comes up to the bottom of your bra line, if your belly is slimmer. If you like super baggy pants (for these are so comfortable, you'll want to wear them all the time), then order maybe two sizes up, then double-fold-down the rise and insert elastic or drawstring (or just cut it off, re-hem the waist, and insert elastic). You can also insert elastic into the hems to make harem or sweatpant hem.The only con is that you cannot really wear these every day. They are too delicate for that. Knit is substantial, not see-through, flows well, drapes well: but I'd imagine that if you wore the same pants day in and day out (which is tempting), the pants would wear out quickly. One last buying tip: pair the pants with the matching tops, jackets, blazers. Each vendor labels its colors a certain way, so match by the label names for the SAME vendor. Each production run of these sets has its own dye naming scheme, so in the following year the same color name will not be exactly the same color. So buy in sets, just in case you'll want them later. (Monochromatic 'look' is slimming.)Very happy camper.
