Like the weight of the fabric, a bit small

I am 5'8", 145, with a bit of a spare tire (not much though). These were too small for me just in the waist in a size 8 but I think if I sized up to a 10 they'd be way too big everywhere else even if they shrunk some. Same higher rise that Lee used to have when I wore them back in the 80's but maybe not quite as high) .I like the fit in the leg...I have muscular legs and stretch jeans tend to bind them and make them look fat...this stretchy denim is a medium weight and is quite flattering.
