DEPT's sizing chart - Don't follow Amazon's sizing info

I've bought DEPT clothing before, and I notice that the two other reviews say that the clothes don't fit despite following the sizing chart. I think the problem is that they are following Amazon's sizing info - (the blue link right next to the product) - rather than tracking down the manufacturer's sizing chart. This is a mistake! Especially when buying online, you need the manufacturer's sizing information. I ran a Google search to find D.E.P.T. sizing charts, which run smaller than Amazon's.I can't recreate the whole thing here, but, to try to help - they say that a size small pant fits a waist size of 25.5-26.5" - that's about a US 0-2. So if you wear a US 4, you should buy the Medium - waist size 27.5-28.5", which converts to a US 4-6. A large fits 30.5-31.5 inch waist - or a US 10-12. Their largest size XL is 33-34in waist - or 16-18 US. I have no idea why there is a two inch difference between the medium and the large, or an inch and a half between large and x-large. I would order the next largest sizeOne other thing - European clothing brands like this one almost always run small. Especially if you are between sizes, you should probably order a size up. I don't know why European clothing is cut so much smaller, but it usually is.Hope this helps!

Size runs a bit small

I just received my order and had to try them on immediately. The pants are gorgeous, love the little details. I'm 5'9" and the length was great, maybe just a smidge to long. Problem was I they were to small around the hips. I followed the measurements on the size chart before purchasing so it seams the sizes run a bit small, not by much but enough that I couldn't get the zipper closed. To bad, would have made a nice addition to my closet. Will be returning them this week.

Fit it way off

I'm upset that these didn't fit. They are lined pants which I thought was great. But even the size I got which was with the measurements is too small. These are going back.
