Product doesn't resemble photo or description.

I ordered, returned, re-ordered, and returned again. The pants I received, both times, were labeled with the correct item number for these "washable flannel" pants. However, they bear no resemblance to what I think about when visualizing "flannel," even synthetic (or polyester) flannel. The look and feel of the fabric is more similar to polyester gabardine, with its twill-like weave. Even after clearly explaining the problem on the phone the first time, I got the same gabardine-like pants on the second order.Each time, I contacted Orvis customer service after receiving the pants. One time, I was told that the pants are made of worsterlon, a synthetic that is ideal for people allergic to wool and that it should feel like wool, which is exactly what I want. But these pants don't meet that criterion. They feel and look like regular polyester twill/gabardine of intermediate quality.Orvis Customer service has tried to be helpful and has always been courteous. They seem, however, to be unable to tell me if what I got (twice) is really what they think of as "washable flannel" or if there was some confusion, and they seem to find it impossible to contemplate that the bags might be mislabeled. (Although the last person did offer to inspect before shipping if I wanted to order a 3rd time, which I think I'll pass.)So, if what I got is "washable flannel" then I cannot recommend it. I am not impressed by the quality of the product I received; the written product description completely misrepresents the product; it does not resemble the photograph; and it is not worth the price. ($69).If what I got is a mislabeled product, then you should be aware that this will result in your having to return the item. I'm awaiting a return label to return the second pair, and getting off this merry-go-round.
