The chambray color looks exactly like shown in the picture. It's made of 100% cotton so it's not stretchy at all. The material is definitely not as thick and stiff as jeans. I got a size small, which fits me pretty well except being too long. My height is 5'5", and I have to cut off 2-3 inches even with my platform shoes on. I normally wear size 26-28 jeans depending on different brands. One thing that's worth mentioning is that while it is high-waisted, the pant doesn't come up as high as I thought it would be. It barely hits my belly button. I don't mind it very much though. Still think it's a very chic and nice-tailored pant.
